Nowadays, there aren't enough of good book reviews for the dystopian novel genre, so I've decided to create one to contribute to the fellow book lovers who need reviews...

The Liftsal Guardians

By: Alexandra Moody

Sloane is an eighteen-year-old female, and she's a deadly fighter. She believes that any problem could be fought with a sword, but she's about to meet her match, and he's not exactly human.

Rhyn is an alien male who is in his twenties. He spots Sloane and is somehow drawn to her. However, she finds out that she's watching him and a fight ensues. Sloane is knocked unconscious, and Rhyn takes her to his world as she heals. However, she can never leave now that she knows his world and his people...

Overall, the book was amazing, and I was unable to put it down. I loved how there was suspense at every corner, and I loved how there was never an empty filler moment in the book. Nowadays, dystopian authors think that romance will fix everything, and that gets annoying, but this author kept little to no romance, which kept me loving the book. I recommend this book to readers who love suspense and don't want romance at every corner.
